I'm a full-suite college admissions advisor offering the following:

  • Closely collaborating on all components of the college application: essays, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and school-specific supplements for up to 14 schools
  • Advising on a standardized testing strategy (SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests, AP Exams)
  • Interview coaching
  • Mock admissions committee sessions, where I recreate admissions committee deliberations in an interactive exercise
  • Devising a college tour strategy
  • Building a list of colleges that maximizes the student’s chances of admission
  • Advising on the student’s high school coursework selection
  • Navigating financial aid paperwork
  • Selecting a college destination

Plans and pricing:

I keep my client caseload small.

This is intentional; I prioritize depth over breadth, and work with a small cohort of clients who are committed to an active partnership in this process. This means your family will have an unobstructed channel to my time and services, all of which are delivered without compromise to quality.

I offer flat rates based on the student’s current year in high school, with modest incentives for students who join my caseload earlier in their high school career. My rates are all-inclusive. By design, I work long-term with my students and families to develop a deeply personalized plan, ensuring the greatest possible growth and results.

Who I work with:

I welcome students at any point in their high school career. Based on how far along the student is, I’ll build a custom strategy that maximizes our time together.

I happily work with clients based around the country and globe. I’m familiar with international school systems from my days recruiting in Asia, Europe, and South America. To account for the remote working relationship, we will build a series of touchpoints by video conference, phone, and instant messenger to replicate the feel of working with a local consultant. I live in New York City and will prioritize face-time with remote clients when they find themselves visiting the Big Apple.

If you currently have a middle school student, I accept early enrollment spots. As with my high school students, I’ll be delighted to meet for a consultation. If you decide you would like to reserve a spot, you may place a modest, non-refundable deposit to hold it. Our formal work will commence when your student is going into high school. I will of course be available at any time for questions and conversations.

At this time, I do not advise on graduate school admissions.

As a general rule, the earlier we start working together will give us substantially greater influence over every detail of your student’s college application. For this reason, I strongly recommend retaining a college admissions consultant sooner rather than later. Having greater lead time will give us the chance to:

  • Work together to build a strategic roadmap for their classwork,
  • Hone in on interests that ultimately build into extracurricular leadership, and
  • Engage in writing and interview exercises that develop voice for interviews and application essays.
